Returnees

Overseas field workers are able to return to their passport countries quickly and more frequently compared to the pioneers who
spent up to three months traveling by boat. These trips could be yearly or several times a year with reasons include visiting family and friends,
medical check-ups, reporting to church/agency/supporters, holidays, rest, and emergencies.  Depending on the purpose,these visits can
be as short as a week or as long as several few months, but usually with the intent of returning to the field.

While they are back, for whatever reason they may have, how may we bless them?  Opening our homes, bringing them out for a meal, or
simply acknowledging them in church?  What are some ways we can encourage and edify them in their cross-cultural ministry whenthey are in our midst?
